Guernsey Awards for Achievement 2012
The annual Guernsey Awards for Achievement, culminating in the Gala Awards Evening in early February, is one of the Island’s largest and most glittering events showcasing and applauding the best companies and most inspirational individuals. Celebrating its 27th anniversary in 2012, the continued success, interest and support by companies and individuals is a testament to the Awards’ uniqueness, which is founded upon the recognition of achievement and excellence.
2012 saw the introduction of four new business awards: NatWest Best New Business, Condor Ferries Employer of the Year, Healthspan Excellence in Marketing and BWCI Innovation Award to reflect the challenges businesses are currently facing. The new awards have been immediately accepted and have introduced the Awards to many companies who had not considered entering before. Livingroom Estate Agents swept the board taking three of the five business awards with Morgan Sharpe Administration and the CI Co-operative Society winner the other two and Carl Hester MBE and Roy Trustum took the individual honours.
