Ice Skate Guernsey

December 1, 2017 to December 31, 2017

ICE SKATE GUERNSEY_Logo_2017_AW-01December 2017 will again see Ice Skate Guernsey take shape as the flooring is laid, generators craned in, ice is formed, the Skate Exchange – home for over 400 pairs of skates in varying sizes – is erected, staff are trained and a winter wonderland is created for everyone who wants to experience the joyous feeling of skating on ice as the festivities of Christmas of approach.

The rink opens on Friday 1 December 2017 and will operate through to Sunday 31 December inclusive (excluding the afternoon of Christmas Eve plus the full days of Christmas Day and Boxing Day).  Sessions will start at 10am and last will start at 7pm and tickets are priced, per session, at £9.00 for adults and £7.00 for children (up to the age of 14 years) and include skate hire.

Ice Skate Guernsey offers islanders and visitors alike a true destination of choice this December with experiences that combine skating with shopping, skating with enjoying hot chocolate and crepes, or mulled wine and mince pies, and skating with the celebrations of a birthday or charity party.

Whether you want to take to the ice with a couple of friends, celebrate a child’s birthday with a group of his/her friends or organise an afternoon of skating with colleagues from work, Ice Skate Guernsey offers something for everyone.  Ice Skate Guernsey can host parties on any day of the week.  Enjoy an ice skating session followed by a delicious meal at Terrazzo Del Giardino.

“Le Friquet is all about being the destination of choice and providing an unrivalled shopping, eating and recreational experience.” said James Robin, Centre Manager at Le Friquet.  “The centre will be filled and bedecked with all things Christmas oriented and having Ice Skate Guernsey and the covered ice rink in the central atrium is the ultimate Christmas attraction for everyone island wide.”
