55 riders took on the challenge of the six day ride completing either a 55/60 or 80/85 mile per day route or for the very keen we added a 100 mile route!
The GEC has been involved in all three of the charity rides – Mule Bretagne in 2014 and Mule Normandy in 2016 – and works on all logistics of the ride including planning the route and carrying out recces of all routes and hotels; travel and transport; accommodation and restaurants; liaison with cyclists and crew members; social media and the website; and the running of the ride itself.
Mule Loire ride raised an incredible £44,000. All of these funds will stay on the island supporting charities including Le Rondin School, Guernsey Sports Association for the Disabled, Active, Monday Club, Headway, Guernsey Sailing Trust, Le Murier School and Autism Guernsey.
