Following the success of the 2014 Mule Bretagne ride which saw 30 riders take on a five day cycle challenge around Brittany raising over £36,000 for local charities, Only Fools and Donkeys decided to do it again!
The Mule Normandie Ride of Remembrance took 38 riders on a five day cycle challenge around Normandy and Brittany taking in the D-Day landing beaches, Bayeaux and Mont St Michel before heading back to St Malo. The riders were split into groups depending on their preferred distance and cycling speed with two routes available each one day, over averaging 50-55 mules and a second of 75-80 miles.
The ride raised an incredible £37,000 all of which will be used to support local charities working with children, young people and adults with learning difficulties and physical disabilities.
